Does that help us date this map at all?David Megarryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00192965579879746502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138202318040749770.post-25126492762543054422017-02-05T15:14:08.563-05:002017-02-05T15:14:08.563-05:00I think - but I'm no expert - that it is what ...I think - but I'm no expert - that it is what is known as "electrostatic copying". Back in the '80's dad had a reconditioned copy machine that I believe was of this sort. The paper is very smooth and waxy feeling. I still have a number of dungeon maps and parts of TSR modules I copied on this stuff. (Or is it just more recent thermal printers that do that?)David Big Mac Shepheardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03268022143324138119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138202318040749770.post-44687386447730417862017-02-04T03:21:56.126-05:002017-02-04T03:21:56.126-05:00I think this is a copy made on a mimeograph paper ...I think this is a copy made on a mimeograph paper but then it could also be the light sensitive paper you are talking about. It is a waxy type paper; I keep thinking that the mimeograph was the same but maybe I am wrong. I went on at length on Zenopus Archives that it was mimeograph paper. This is a mystery to myself. What technology used light sensitive papers? That in itself may give us a broad time frame, as Xerox technology completely blew mimeograph and light sensitive paper technology away. Thoughts?David Megarryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00192965579879746502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138202318040749770.post-20183513445151726162017-02-03T23:12:05.443-05:002017-02-03T23:12:05.443-05:00Thanks for the kind words, Dan. There's one mention of the WC in Quag Keep, so the name existed prior to the Folio WoG.Zenopus Archiveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14069501995927451558noreply@blogger.com
